About the Artist
Hello! My name is Sterling Chaney, and I've been working as a graphic designer and illustrator for over 10 years. After graduating from the Savannah College of Art and Design in 2016, I began designing for a variety of industries, including vending machines, sports apparel, and educational materials. But one I always particularly liked working in was the beer industry.
What started with only one brewery client quickly grew to a large network of beer, cider, and wine brands from all over the country that wanted artwork for their labels. It became clear that I had tapped into a niche, so I've decided to lean into it. I created Hop Art Studio to cater directly to beer brands that want to stand out on the shelves.
About the Art
Through every design project, my goal is to always create work that is authentic. That means making 100% original artwork by hand that is unique to its application. I enjoy the challenge that every new project brings. Every business has its own story, personality, and audience, and I like figuring out the best way to communicate that story visually. With that comes the opportunity to apply my variety of art styles, depending on the project. Artwork that genuinely belongs to the product it represents.
